Turmeric Golden Latte

There are many variations of turmeric milk you can try. In this version we are blending turmeric with almond milk and coconut butter (or oil) which not only adds a soothing, creamy base but also additional health benefits.

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbs coconut manna/coconut butter or coconut oil
  • ½ inch ginger knob peeled and grated
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 medjool date pitted
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder optional
  • 1 tsp ashwagandha optional

Instructions

  • Simply combine all ingredients, medjool date, in a small saucepan and bring to a gentle boil while stirring with a spoon to combine. Carefully transfer hot liquid into a blender, add the pitted medjool date and tightly seal the lid.
  • Blend in your high speed blender until frothy, about 30 seconds.
  • Enjoy warm is best!
