This powerful concoction is one of our more advanced juice recipes. The dark, potent herbs, packed with chlorophyll, are excellent for cleansing the blood. Toxicity in the blood can be a key culprit for acne, hormone imbalance and other bodily disruptions that leave us feeling tired and fatigued. In addition to the powerful greens, there is ginger and turmeric to help combat colds and other illnesses that linger during the changing seasons.

This potent juice is great option for anytime time of the year, however super beneficial if made in the cold winter months to help move the blood and stimulate the immune functions.

Everyday herbs like parsley and cilantro, are very useful for removing toxins from the blood and work to alkalize the body’s PH. It is also a very helpful drink for eliminating parasites and will assist in moving the bowels if constipated.

Ingredients

  • 1 Lemon peeled
  • 2 Apples cored
  • 2 inches Fresh Ginger
  • 2 inches Fresh Turmeric Root when available
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 8 Celery Stalks
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 bunch Parsley regular or Italian

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients through a juicer and strain for the best results. Drink and enjoy!
    Makes approximately 28 oz (3 cups) of juice. Start by dividing it into 3 portions. You can store it in a refrigerator in a glass jar with a tight lid for up to 48 hours. Over time work your way to drinking the full 28 oz amount to replace your regular meal.

    • Hi Barbara,
      Fresh juice can be drank really at any point in the day, preferably on an empty stomach. With that said, having a fresh juice first thing in the morning is a perfect break-fast. 🙂 Hope that helps!

    • Hello Matty, we would say you could drink it like 2-3 times a week! Variety is always good, so mixing it up with some carrot or beet-based juices would be great!

      We would say it makes approximately 32oz, which to us this would be considered one meal serving.

  1. Hi – what do recommend if you don’t have a juicer. i have a really great blender but know that this will be too thick by blended by itself.

    • Great question, if you have a good blender than our suggestion would be to use your blender and then strain it through a cheesecloth to separate the pulp from the juice. Hope that helps 🙂
