With summer here I love having so many fresh fruits and veggies around! Aside from eating them and tasting their natural deliciousness – I also love juicing them. The fact that I can also cram so many dark leafy greens into a juice and consume it is a bonus, especially if I am on then run π
Today I made some fresh pineapple, ginger juice that is sure to wake you up and get you going, or refresh you from a day of sunshine.
By the way the inspiration for the name… the first time we made it – I asked Zuzana to try it and say the first thing that comes to her and well it was “It tastes like sunshine” π
Tastes Like Sunshine
This juice is fresh, citrusy and great for your digestion amongst many other things including, inflammation, bones, skin, and so on!
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 1 apple
- 4 stalks celery
- 2 limes
- Ginger thumb size
- 3-4 turmeric roots
Instructions
- Make sure to thoroughly wash everything first. Peel and cut the pineapple into wedges/chunks (depending on your juicer), next cut the apple into wedges, peel the limes, and start juicing!!
Notes
I recommend running the limes through after you run the turmeric through - it helps with preventing stains.
