One Minute Guided Meditation

By , On , In Meditation, Lifestyle

We live in a busy world. Even if we try to relax, our minds are often filled with distractions. This busy-ness has a direct correlation with an increased amount of people reporting to feel overstressed and unhappy. Further more if we suppress or ignore these feelings for a prolonged amount of time they will negatively influence our physical and mental wellbeing.

But there is GOOD NEWS! Luckily, there are tools freely available to us all, that give us the ability to control the noise and find inner peace and stillness required to feel whole again. One of these tools is called MEDITATION.

What is meditation?

This term has gained a lot of popularity over the last few years, but what exactly is meditation? Meditation is a specific technique for resting the mind and attaining a state of consciousness that is totally different from the normal day to day waking state most of us are so familiar with. When you meditate, you are fully awake and alert, but your mind is not focused on the external world or on the events taking place around you. During meditation you bring your mind to a gentle focus on a single point or stimuli and eventually allow that focus to expand beyond the mind and experience your real, organic nature—which is described as peace, happiness, bliss…

When you meditate, it’s almost like giving yourself an inner vacation.

Sounds pretty amazing, right?

Well, the truth is that this state of being , this “inner vacation” is available to all of us pretty much at any point of the day. We don’t need any special tools or props. We don’t need to spend money on lessons or courses. We just need to start and then keep up with the practice preferably on regular basis. Consistency is the key!

How to start meditation practice?

Meditating is much simpler than most of us make it out to be. As we mentioned before, beginning a meditation practice requires only your slight willingness. Your desire to experience freedom from all sorts of suffering is all you need to get on a new path.

Let’s set the intention to begin your practice now. You have a minute to spare, right? One minute a day spent in stillness can change your life.

One last suggestion before you begin…

Be patient and trust the process.

Some of the most important benefits of meditation will come to you gradually over time and are not always dramatic or easily observed. Persist in your practice and you will find that meditation is a means of freeing yourself from the worries and stress that hold you back from fully living and enjoying life.

Commit to change by devoting just one minute a day and try the following meditation practice to silence your mind and calm your energy.

We hope that this helps you find peace and happiness we all so deserve.

With love and gratitude,
